Here’s a photo of me when I was about six years old cleaning my little electric car while my dad was right next to me cleaning his Lexus RX incorrectly (I saw another old photo of the product he was using to wash his car…). Anyways, at that time, I obviously wasn’t thinking “Yeah, I’m going to start a detailing business one day,” I even forgot this moment even existed. I have a lot of hobbies. Originally wanted to become a karate master, then I started doing piano and violin lessons (mainly self-taught). I actually became a violin teacher in my freshman year in highschool! I was enjoying my job as a teacher and wanted to start my own private violin lesson. I had a few private lesson but after a while, it died out on me as I became more busier in life. During the summer of 2024, I was starting to get serious about learning more in-depth about detailing. The do’s and don’ts, high-quality chemicals, the techniques, mixtures, and how to talk. I was never the greatest at communicating but starting this business, I know it’ll be a challenge. I decided to take the risk and invest all that I’ve made that summer into something of “my own.” And that something could eventually help me grow as a person. The something, eventually became Car Dash Detailing. A lot of what I know comes from my personal research. I watched professional, private courses, speaking with detailers in person, asking tons of questions till they’re sick of me, and honestly, I don’t regret it one bit. Now I got a lot of questions and what comes up usually is “what do you enjoy the most about detailing?” I love seeing the customers’ reactions. It brings me joy and happiness when they see their vehicle looking better than before. I think many detailers would relate. So If you’re reading this before booking me, pretend you’re happy after the detail even if the vehicle didn’t turn out as you were expecting—jokes aside, please let me know so I can fix it, and ensure your satisfaction after the detail. I, like most detailers, notice imperfections, we can’t guarantee 100% restoration because what can be 90-95% to me can be 100% to you. But that is the main reason why I may take a little longer than what you can expect, but I’d rather take my time than rush to the next vehicles. Depending on the packages you choose, I’d be more meticulous as I can. Car Dash is mobile, mainly due to the fact that many people are busy. Everything is usually done outside your doorstep. Not everyone wants to drop off their cars and wait (unless they have someone to pick them up). Most would like to stay home, stay relaxed, or have work. That is why I don’t even charge travel fees. Aside from Car Dash, I’m a full-time college student working toward becoming a nurse, and I also help at my family’s nail salon doing mani, pedi, gel polishes, and cleaning up the shop for my family at the end of the day… so yeaaah, I can stay pretty busy. Long-term wise, I hope to see Car Dash becoming something much bigger, shop, mobile services, more delivery options, and eventually, the ability to serve clients all across Illinois. Nursing is still a career I’m working towards right now. I do enjoy my CNA clinical studies. Helping people is what I enjoy. But hope that wraps it up, and that’s a little something about me!
